Leadership Lakes Region is seeking a Program Coordinator!
Leadership Lakes Region (LLR) is dedicated to fostering community improvement by developing, expanding, and promoting a network of effective volunteer leaders with diverse skills and interests. Our program focuses on key aspects of civic life by exploring and increasing understanding of the history, environmental issues, culture, economic, political, social, and educational issues unique to the Lakes Region. We are seeking a passionate and organized Program Coordinator to join our team on a part-time contractual basis.
Position: Program Coordinator (Part-Time, Contracted)
Annual salary of $15,000, to be paid in monthly installments. Please note that this is a contracted position, and Leadership Lakes Region does not offer any benefits for this position.
Location: Lakes Region, New Hampshire
Key Responsibilities:
· Program Planning & Execution: Planning, developing, and implementing program days.
· Participant and Volunteer Coordination: Communicate with program participants, guest speakers, alumni, sponsors, and community partners. Oversee the recruitment, selection, and retention process for program participants.
· Event Logistics: Coordinate logistics for program days and events, including preparation of materials, setup, and catering.
· Administrative Support: Maintain and update alumni contact information, assist with printed program and marketing materials, and maintain the organization's website with current information and photos.
Qualifications:
· Educational Background: Associate’s degree in business administration, organizational development, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
· Experience: 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, leadership training, or community development. Experience with virtual meeting software and project management tools is a plus.
· Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
· Attributes: Collaborative team player with cultural humility and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders. A strategic thinker with a passion for leadership and community development.
